As our season is off to a great start there was unfortunately bad news this week with a member of the Jr. WooSox organization. Jaden Jaillet received a diagnosis of Leukemia (AML) and she is currently undergoing chemotherapy and treatments.
Jaden is a wonderful young girl and a big supporter of everything Double Play & The Jr. WooSox. It is time for us to show our support for her during this time. The flyer is attached to the email detailing the fundraiser.
“Jacks 4 Jaden” is going to be season long and will take EVERY HOMERUN during our DIVISIONAL GAMES and tally them up throughout our ENTIRE ORGANIZATION. This will be a great way for our players to show their strength and help support Jaden as she embarks on this battle.
Please email me (Ryan O’Rourke – rorourke@doubleplaysportsfitness.com) the amount you will pledge per home run and I will keep the tally going and send updates throughout the year. I personally am going to start off this wonderful fundraiser with a $250 donation.
